Athletes become violent to win
From ancient times, sports have been an important piece for our society to develop as it is today. Since the beginnings of the Olympics, the best of the best are chose to represent their nations and being the best of the best. With this in mind, athletes are always competing with themselves to grab the spotlight and many times this can create an issue, which is forgetting why they chose to do sports on the first place.
Many athletes began playing or doing a sport just because it was fun to them and they kept doing it, but the world sometime can mislead people into other roads. With uprising of advertising and awards, sportsmen have lost their mind set seeing that by being in the top means having ads and cash, leading to forget the fun they had by only playing the sport they love causing them to stress out.
An athlete at any level has felt the desire to win. This burning passion to succeed is a great mindset to possess, but it can also bring about negative thoughts. Easily put, being successful brings about pressure.
Pressure plays a huge part in sports. Many people may not realize the stress that athletes undergo on a daily basis, the expectations that they must live up to, and their desire to be the best and above all the pressure to satisfy the fans at every game. Athletes that are under pressure have more probability to get injured during the games or even worse, in moment of great importance they can backlash and affect the whole team, costing them even their jobs.
